But what presses on Nagisa right now as being strangest is that, for all that he feels like he's spent the last twenty-four hours talking about Teiko for the first time in over a year . . . he hasn't really talked about Teiko.
Not to his friends, who only really know that Iwatobi High was impressed enough with his middle school transcript to agree to funding the swim club on the spot.
Not to his parents, even though he tried, even though he spent what felt like all night fighting for the right words, because he couldn't find the ones that might make them understand about the most important things. About Sacchan, and Dai-chan, and all the things that went so wrong . . .
